Flux very much understood the assignment here! Trained on the same dataset as my model for SDXL, and in one training attempt without need for merges or alternative dataset training attempts - it's refreshing when a model comes out this easily!

A key focus for this model (and a distinguishing mark vs many other excellent watercolor models) is its focus on the texture and tooth of a heavy watercolor paper.

I used the same prompts as for the XL model in this showcase, except that I made sure to always prompt 'Watercolor painting' ... Flux likes direction in painting and illustration styles more than XL does. Almost all one-shot generations and they're spot on! Had to run the dragon a second time to include the word 'winged' but I think the rest just came out great with one attempt.

Eldritch delivers again, this is a nice one.

One thing I like about your style loras is that they strongly impart the style when used for img2img. For some reason a lot of other people's Flux style loras don't really work when used in i2i, the style doesn't come through even at high strength. Must be something different about your training process.

Thanks for the endorsement! While I take pride in my artistic eye and intuition for visual communication, I can't take any special credit for whatever technical approach might help my style loras in this respect - I simply tried approaches others recommended and when I found one that produced the results I want, I stuck with it. And keep sticking with it.

Happy to divulge any aspect of what I do with anyone who wants to know - it's an open source project and since I benefit from open models being shared freely, I feel obligated likewise to share freely.

Massive respect! Your SDXL models have always been incredible, but your Flux LoRAs are next-level – you’ve truly outdone yourself! The precision, creativity, and sheer versatility in these models are outstanding. Whether it’s hyper-detailed textures or surreal atmospheres, they deliver that signature ‘wow’ factor every time.

You’ve got a gift for anticipating what the community needs before we even know it. Thank you for constantly pushing boundaries and inspiring us all. Keep blazing trails – your work is pure magic! 🎨

Really appreciate the kind words, @murphylanga! Honestly not sure what my next models might be. Been spinning wheels a few weeks now but hopefully land on something useful and fun to work with soon ...
