What's the point of publishing the workflow if you don't explain how to use it, i wasted like 30 minutes trying to get it to work. The workflow uses checkpoint loader and no a diffusion loader and fails with flux. Please, if you are going to upload things, at least write a guide, thank you anyway for trying to upload something.
I am sorry you were not able to get the workflow to work. It is designed for the Flux models that go in checkpoints folder not Unet folder. with that said controlnets for flux are unstable, I have experienced many random crashes even after having the right size for controlnets and prerunning Enable controlnets and auto prompter
I am working on version that can be used on a graphics card that has less than 24gb vram
I don't understand this attitude at all. Those of us who share resources and tools on here do so in the hopes of advancing the AI platform. It does not bring with it an obligation to teach others how to use them. There are some publishers who specialize in tutorials and instructions, but that does not make it mandatory for every workflow/resource shared. If you cannot make something work, then delete it and move on. Why chastise someone who took the time to share something that worked for them? I have deleted many a workflow I could not get to perform well. I also learned a lot by troubleshooting the issues and incorporating pieces of them into my workflows. It is not someone else's responsibility to educate you on how to do something.
What's the point of posting a skill issue comment if you don't post your address so he can come round your house and hold your hand?
@tomspin I find this comment thread funny now, cuz it was posted a year ago, and the OP, and person bashing the OP are both "deleted" so it almost looks like they're arguing with themself. XD.
That said, I do understand where the OP is coming from. I mean, it's not like they're asking for their hand to be held, let's be real, most people downloading and using workflows for comfyui(especially a year ago before it was baby-proofed and fisher priced with built in comfy-manager, auto-updates, etc.), have at least a decent surface-level understanding of how AI works, and how to use the program.
But, to post a custom workflow that only YOU fully understand, and no one else (especially one that's not necessarily plug n' play), and not take a few extra minutes to explain the quirks unique to this thing you've posted, is a bit of a troll move.
Cuz, time is precious. As you get older, you realize that more and more. I am 45, and wasted most of my life, and now I deal with extreme anxiety over the thought of wasting time. It's not about an "obligation", it's about common courtesy.
It's like if you're walking in front of someone, and you know they're right behind you. You're not obliged to hold the door for them, but it doesn't hurt to take that few extra seconds to help your fellow person, and show that there's even a sliver of good left in humanity.
Then there's the factor of condensed time. That was half an hour wasted of that person's time, but then how many people may download this, and have the same experience?
I just had a quick look, apparently over 1700ish. And so, if even 5-10% did, that's approx 100 people, multiplied by 30 minutes, that's 3000 minutes, or 50 hrs. Then, if we were to factor in the butterfly effect of each of those people's frustrations, and unique individual circumstances.. Well, that's quite the catastrophe over a simple lack of common courtesy.
@Lazman
>time is precious
>writes a huge wall of nonsense after psychoanalyzing OPs post, summarized with a mathematical equation = time is precious
bruh, get a fucking life.
@tomspin Get a brain. Your complete lack of reading/math comprehension is hardly my problem.
