    I think the 2.1 version had more of a penciled look than this newer one. Is there any way to get closer to that style in the XL version?

    @9ball Basically, it's to use custom SD XL checkpoints or add "pencil (charcoal) drawing" to the positive prompt, and you can also try adding "oil painting" or something to the negative prompt.
