So to get proper likeness you essentially need a better PC. Which I don't got, rip.
Correct. I believe it is possible train flux fp8 loras but all of my models will be fp16 to achieve the highest likeness and quality. Maybe in the future they will compatible I'm not sure. It may be worth to try and do some experimenting running these loras with the fp8 model and see what you can achieve! My testing has been VERY limited.
@AIENGI Oh, I made this comment before I switched to Forge and ran an fp8 model and I can still get great likeness off of some celeb loras. I was using Comfy and it didn't run Flux that well even with NF4. Now I don't feel like I need to upgrade anytime soon, I don't got the budget anyway at the moment. lol I haven't tried your loras yet but I'll let you know if anything happens.
@cosmoslayer26 Okay did a little chatting with other model trainers and it seems they have no issue using the fp8 flux model. I think my issue resided in the fact I tested with the fp8 model and the t5fp8 clip. Still not sure. Need to do more testing but I am at work. Let me know if you get some results with fp8!
