If I only upscale images, I get pixelated / grainy results. If I also add some prompting and try to 2x or 3x a 756 image, the result is less grainy, yet still not sharp. Some prompt+upscale images also show a checkered interference pattern. Any way to fix this? I'm using t5xxl_fp16 + clip_l for clips and flux1_dev.sft for checkpoint.
Make sure you use Euler / Simple. And upscale factor of around 2. I pushed up to 3 but yeah, it got pixelated/checkered when set to more than this. But hey, at least it works (not like many other workflows for Flux which doesn't seem to do much, especially in terms of img2img).
@HanJammer Ya, I'm using Euler / Simple. Got image2image to work, although the results are not as good as with text2image. However, I still can't figure out why my upscales come out blurry/pixelated. As instructed, I turn the denoise to 0 in the BasicScheduler and remove any prompt. Anything else I'm missing?

Took so long generate 1 image, im running rtx 3060 12gb. Is this normal?
Depends on the settings used really. Higher res images will take more time.
