Hello there!
I'm back with another LoRA, this time a very different one, it was more of a personal project for myself since I'm a big history buff, but I've decided to share it with the rest of you, because I reckon some of you might appreciate it :)
It's a simple concept really, what I tried to achieve is more realistic female armor, as there is a lot of skimpy or lewd versions of female armors already.
Therefore I attempted to collect as much realistic armors that would fit a woman as possible, I used weight 0.7 which worked the best for me.
I recommend adding "watermark, logo" into a negative prompt.
This time I didn't test NSFW as it would be obviously pointless for this model but if you feel the urge then go for it! Might get interesting results :D
So to sum thing up:
What to expect - plate armor, gambesons, linen tunics, chainmails, swords
What not to expect - weird ass skimpyfied, half cropped nonsense plate crop tops, chainmail thongs and all the fun stuff like that :)
If you managed to get some nice pics then please share them with the rest of us, I'm curious to see some nice medieval stuff that you can come up with! :)
Also yes, it will probably work even for men, but it wasn't the primary focus of the dataset so you might have a bit of a harder time, don't know, didn't try but if you do let us know! :)
And if you find this model to be at least sort of nice and you'd like to support me, please consider dropping follow on my account here on CivitAI or, if you would like to support me even other way I'm gonna attach link to my Ko-Fi :)
Thank you all, enjoy the model and have a nice day! :)

While it's nice to see some more realistic amor instead of the usual bikini mail, I hesitate in giving this lora a full endorsement due to the boob plates in the example pics...
Breastplates weren't actually touching the skin of the wearer over the chest, but had a bulging out shape with a cavity beneath. That allows for blows to glance off the plate and slide to the side, and prevents the full impact of a blow from being transmitted right into the chest. A twin-boob plate armor literally focuses half the blows that glance of the steel boobs into the center, to possibly penetrate (and if not, then it'll pass on the force right to the breastbone).
Boob plates on the example pics are more than anything a fault of chosen model and giving some pics for the reference together quickly because of the lack of time today, dataset has zero boobplates and the result as such is of course more than achievable, the dataset I used was based on practical and functional armor that would be realistically used so no probs in there :)
So I just uploaded some even more realistic pictures that I put together just to show that the LoRA is capable generating them :) I was in rush with the initial pictures so I didn't pay much attention to the boob plates :D Anyway - pics are updated and the model is good to go and generate some nice medieval stuff :)
This is 100% not the place for a history buff brawl, but the "boob plate ruins plate armor" is a misconception that underestimates how hard it is to penetrate plate and the loss of energy from a deflection. Is boob plate less effective? Yes, but people act like that negates the armor
Direct example, many sets of plate armor had cinched waists to look good. If you got bashed there, it is definitely less effective, but it's still plate armor, and they still did it to look good. If female fighters were celebrated and admired back then, boob plate 100% would have been a thing
@qwertyismadeofspam124 Thanks for the comment, agreed :) We can see that for instance on the armor of king Henry VIII. whose armor had a massive codpiece :D Was it necessary for the effectivness? Aboslutely not, it was for literally big PP energy :D it's true that most of the plate armors had enough of space between chest and the armor itself so if a lady would try to wear it she probably wouldn't have many issues with breasts if she wasn't particularly gifted.
So that's a good note and I agree on the fact that if female knights were a bigger thing we would have probably incorporated even the boob plate as we did it with codpieces :)
Thanks for the input! :)
Also I personally don't think that boob plates would ruin the armor, but I thought it's nice to have a diversity thus I created this little thing :)
Gotta nickpick cuz I'm cranky today, this be fantasy Renaissance mang, medieval stuff has A LOT more mail, of course I'm downloading and genning some armored girls, boobplates... eh I see dames wearing something of the sort, not like they'll be charging into the start of combat, if you have girls in your fantasy/medieval army use them as the persecution/scatter, the ones doing the most damage as the enemy army is running for their lives, so a bunch of vicious horsegirls. Thanks for the model
Chocolate usually helps my crankiness. I just like pretty armor.
The most effective armor is always the kind of armor that has two elevations cast in a way to guide your enemy's blow straight to your vitals! :D
Jokes aside, thanks for making this, even if my swordfighting female friends roll their eyes. ;_
