It's RAMTHRUST again, and I have a pleasant and unique surprise for you! But first, a quick reason this LoRA exists.
I've always found pony's anime style hideous. It just looks smudgy, half-finished and adds this general feeling that someone drew it with oil pastels and then ran their thumb through it and called it "blending". I don't need to mention the backgrounds because they're just not there... BUT NO MORE!
Enter:
The Black Magic 2-D Anime Enhancer!
I made using this LoRA as simple as can be.
Just punch in the trigger word: "Source_Anime", in the positives and "3d" in the negatives.

WHAT YOU GET
A studio anime look that just looks completed and shiny with minimal additional prompts, saving precious token space
(HOPEFULLY) Better backgrounds.
WORKS BEST WITH AUTISM MIX - It may work well with others but this is the one I tested with because it's the one most geared towards anime.

Will there ever be a checkpoint for this or will you be making an entirely unrelated Pony checkpoint? Just curious, you make good models.
@User37 thanks dude, I've made an effort but they always come out janky and unreliable. The Lora suits my needs, but I MAY consider merging this into a model in the future if I find the exact right one.
@RAMTHRUST Hope it happens! I'm not sure if it's only me.... But I've found huge success using this as a LORA on Realistic Models to output anime images that look even better than Anime-specific models haha
@donaldoctavia22611 I've not heard of anyone experimenting in that fashion and I never tried. That's very interesting and I'll need to give it a shot! Thanks for reminding me about the pony merge; I'll need to do more testing since that fell off a few months ago. Thanks for the kind words and I hope this lora continues to work out for you!
Pony merge is done!
I've done a little more testing with this Lora and it seems to work best at the weight 0.45 or 0.85. Though there are other great weights, like 0.25. For some reason, .65 doesn't hit the right spot. However, do note that I only tested a few weights. Pretty great!
