OMG this is Awesome would you please make a cultist for each of the four gods?
Thanks!
I wasn't able to find art for Cultist chan serving specific gods.
Maybe we can make a few pictures on CivitAI and I can use those to train her?
For example,
Khorne - Red armor and horns
Sleenesh - Long purple hair, huge breasts, and black leather
Nrugle - Zombie? Green skin
Tzeentch - I have no idea lol. Blue skin, white hair, gold jewelry glasses? I don't really know much about Tzeentch lol
@CitronLegacy Will take me a little bit to get back conus, will make a slew of them. I have no idea how to make loras, but you have quite the eye for them!
And so she captures another site (for Chaos.) The Dark Powers are no doubt pleased.
For the dark gods!
@CitronLegacy In all seriousness, thanks for uploading so many cool warhammer related models. One of the first things I did with AI art was try to bring my homebrew space marine chapter to life, so all this warhammer content is exactly what i was looking for!
@IncurableNerd Glad you like them! I love the Warhammer lore/world and its always satisfying when I manage to make a good Warhammer lora.
What are your theme/colors/etc for your Space Marine chapter?
@CitronLegacy Their colors are white with gold trim on the pauldrons. I've even written up details as to their homeworld's culture, heavily based on the real world Caribbean, both in terms of climate (mostly ocean, dotted with tropical islands) and culture (space marines with dreadlocks, names derived from the Haitian Creole language, considered having them use the Rastafari alternative pronoun system in their dialect, etc) stuff like that. When I create a character, even for a fan work like this, I sort of use it as a stepping stone to learn about some real world subject. This all started because I thought "hey, I adore reggae music and Pirates of the Caribbean, but what if I tried to make a Chapter based on the AUTHENTIC culture of the Caribbean?" So now their origin story may well end up including an oblique nod to the Haitian Revolution.
@CitronLegacy (sorry for the wall of text, i think i got a little excited, it's been a really fun personal project to work on)
@IncurableNerd I like the white and gold color palette. This is a really cool concept! I think a lot of the best stories/ideas have a foundation in a real world knowledge/science/culture even if that foundation seems unlikely for the story/idea.
"Space marines with dreadlocks" is a nice idea just by itself but now I'm looking up "Haitian Culture" to see if there are any symbols/artifacts/themes/motifs that stand out so I can make a "Haitian Style" Lora lol
Does the Haitian origin have any impact of the type of weapons they use? If dreadlocks are an import design choice maybe they would have a culture of thinking "wearing a helmet is weak/dishonorable" ?
Please link a picture of your chapter if you ever make an image you don't mind posting. I'd really interesting in seeing what you are envisioning!
@CitronLegacy Oh wow, really? I just took that as an excuse to wax lyrical about a passion project, I didn't expect a lora out of it, but if you ever find the time I'd be over the moon with gratitude! With regards to their weapon styles, I haven't gotten quite that far yet, mostly been focusing on the history and background fluff, but you make a good point, that's something I'll have to consider! I don't know if I have their "vibe" and look set in stone quite yet, still learning about the cultures I'm trying to base it on, and the differences between the islands of the region.
As for posting pictures, sure, I'll do that! Very few of my attempts align with the mental image I have of them, and they were made on pixai (where I first learned about ai art) but there were still some standouts. One thing I noticed that really helped the aesthetic was small, subtle infusions of Warframe-related LoRA, that seemed to give them the sleeker, more baroque and ornate look I had in mind for their overall look. That said, those pics were before I added the detail about Caribbean culture, of which I am still in the process of learning all about, so who knows how they'll end up further down the line! Heck, I still don't have their chapter logo/symbol planned out, just a name and a color scheme so far.
@IncurableNerd I didn't find any images that stood out as a strong theme for a Haitian or Carribean style Lora but send me 50 images and I'll train a Lora. No promises that it will produce anything coherent but it might make something cool.
I'm currently researching the Mayan aesthetic which is near the Caribbean but honestly I'm not sure how close it is thematically https://civitai.com/models/443711/mesoamerican-outfit-aztecmayanetc
Anything about this Lora that seems useful for you?
Nice idea! I think the Warframe aesthetic would certainly transform the Space Marine armor into something unique.
@CitronLegacy So if I were to send you the fifty images, where would I send them? Upload them here on civitai or somewhere else? Where were you thinking?
@IncurableNerd Oh! You got the images together? I'm excited to see them.
Google Drive is my preference but if you want to upload them to another file sharing site that works too.
@CitronLegacy I don't have them quite yet, but I just realized that the location was something I'd never asked for and had no idea, so I figured that was a good first step.
@IncurableNerd yes there'd be no point in collecting images if you couldn't share them.
Collecting images for your original idea should be fun so no rush take your time.
This is sort of a random idea so we don't know how the lora will turn out. So if you want me to train a partial dataset we can do that with less images just to get a feel of what the final version might look like.
But again no rush I'm just giving you options.
@CitronLegacy I just want to make sure I do this in a way that is convenient for you too, this is a very nice thing you're offering, and I wouldn't want to make it any more of a hassle than it needs to be. That'd be a terrible way to say "thank you." I've been trying to generate images of my chapter all day and nothing seems to be doing the trick, but the pics I have from pixai are kinda tiny... unless you were referring to a Rastafari/Caribbean lora, in which case I've been combing through the wrong folders, ha ha.
@IncurableNerd Thanks I appreciate the concern. I have a bad habit of taking on more than I can handle lol
I was talking about your Chapter but I can train either dataset. I was making the offer for the partial dataset Lora just to level set that this may not work. I'd feel bad if you were spending tons of hours expecting a perfect Lora.
If you look at this one I made (Ignore first 4 heretical sexy images): https://civitai.com/models/347792/dark-angels-first-legion-warhammer-40k
The details aren't perfect even though I had official Dark Angels art so this one we are making might be a little lower quality than this Dark Angel one.
@CitronLegacy Oh I understand, it's just an experiment. Half the fun is the uncertainty. Besides, as the good Bob Ross once said, no mistakes, only happy accidents.
