Wonderful.
I'd like Nina from Breath of Fire II.
You'll be lucky if they did it.
You realize this is the WORST way to request something because it's so overused/common, and actually an insult, right? On hundreds of artists pages, there's always at-least one guy going "This is nice, can i haz thing nao?"
It's literally formulaic.
[Insert generic, 1-3 word compliment]
[Make request for art/character-LORA which was your actual intent in commenting from the beginning, but you frontload with generic comment hoping it makes them more likely to do your request]
@WorstAirtist I'm not good at English, so I used a translation site to make it easier to understand. It's true that I thought it was great, but was it weird to say that at the beginning? I'm sorry if I offended you.
@pusax2001520 It's not an offense to me. It's that it seems like you are only complimenting to then immediately make a request.
I'll give an example using food.
"Hey, I like this free hotdog you gave me. Now give me a free hamburger too."
It would be much better to just ask for the hamburger. Because the internet is full of people who place what appears to be a compliment, specifically so they can request free art/other stuff right after because they didn't actually mean or care about the compliment.. they just wanted the 'free thing'
Now maybe it's just the language barrier/translator in this case, and if so i'm sorry for coming so hard onto you. I've just seen thousands of examples of this where you can tell the compliment is hollow, and was just put there as a preamble to the request they were going to make.
Would have been overall better to just say "Since you're doing breath of Fire Characters, do you have any plans to make Nina from BOF II as well?" and shown your thanks to the creator by generating a few images to post on their gallery since that gives them buzz.
Love this characters design. Though as I've only ever played BOF3...
I've never understood why she is a half-human-half-tiger, that becomes a dark elf lol.
I am aware she is some deific being or something. its just the jump from one species to another that is seemingly unrelated!
I will not pretend I remember anything of the lore, I played this almost 30 years ago. Actually, the only thing I remember is at some point you had to wait or timeskip or something until Nina was old enough to turn into a bird and carry your ass to the next continent XD
@neclordx Ha, sounds like the desert to the final boss in 3, where you gotta kill the camel to proceed, otherwise you just infinitely go out and come back.
But yeah, old games are old... i still remember playing stuff like Chrono Cross, BOF3, and ff7-9 way back, and it's crazy that some of it was 30+ years ago.
Regardless, Katt has one of my favorite designs, both forms, though her normal form is best to me.
Very late answer but it because of the Shaman fusin system in BoF 2. If you use a good pairing then it alters the characters appearance too.
@AxiomKnight Ah, Fair enough.
