I baked in the pastelWaifuDiffusion VAE so using a vae will not be necessary with this model.
I do however highly recommend using hi res fix on your images, it makes them achieve the same brilliant clarity as shown in this model's sample gallery.

Hi, could you please clear my curiosity? How is it that in some positive and negative prompts some words are enclosed in parentheses? These to be clear ( and sometimes even 2 (( or 3 ((( parentheses. Could you explain the reason? It's not enough to simply use the Comma? , XD
Adding parentheses around a specific prompt adds emphasis to that prompt (makes it appear more strongly in the generated artwork)
More parentheses, more strength
