I must admit this confused me a lot at first glance and had to do a double take. It does resemble some folkloric attires of the central western(jalisco) region with the short capelette thingy. I guess the other common ones would be the Yucatan "huipil" style ones. Or the Oaxacan ones. But i am pretty sure the most famous are the "China poblana" ones from well Puebla. So it didn't immediately ring a bell.
