Every time you press "Queue Prompt", new specie adds.
Installation
Install Cyclist custom nodes;
Install Impact Pack custom nodes (or any other wildcard support), and a wildcard for animals;
Download and open this workflow.
How to use
Press "Queue Prompt" button again and again;
Press "New Cycle" button to restart with a new image.

You said you "created the prompt to generate freaky species". Do you mean you made an embedding? If it's just prompt, then just "species" should work somewhat similar to "mix-of-random-species-on-1body" .
Anyway, this is a simple concept workflow. If you really want to make hybrids, you should use the model like ChimeraMi(XL), and concatenate specific, non-random prompts.
