Eska From The Legend of Korra

Eska from the tv series The Legend of Korra (2012), a Nickelodeon animated sequel to Avatar: The Last Airbender about Korra learning her duties as the new Avatar while facing political, spiritual, and elemental conflicts, is the daughter of Unalaq, twin sister of Desna, and cousin of Korra from the Northern Water Tribe. She appears prominently in Book Two: Spirits, where she and Desna accompany their father during his involvement in Southern Water Tribe affairs and the growing spirit conflict. Eska is depicted as a pale, dark-haired waterbender with a cold, deadpan personality and a matching design to her twin brother. In the story she becomes briefly engaged to Bolin after taking his interest in her very seriously, creating a strange comedic subplot while her family’s alliance with Unalaq pulls her into the larger conflict surrounding the Water Tribes and Harmonic Convergence.
