Spritely Cover Art makes title-page key art for your game from a screenshot. It is a LoRA for Qwen-Image-Edit-2509. The images on this page show the screenshot next to the result.
You provide one screenshot of your game and write the genre, the art style and the scene you want. Cover Art draws a wide picture in the look of your game, with no title, logo or other text on it. You add your own title afterwards. You can use the picture on your title screen or your store page.
Every sample on this page uses screenshots from my own games: Hard Burn, Cats Against Humanity and Saltblade.
What it does well:
It keeps the look of your game: the rust-orange warships of Hard Burn, the voxel rooms of Cats Against Humanity and the painted ruins of Saltblade.
It removes nearly all of the menus, health bars and other interface from the screenshot.
With the 4-step Lightning LoRA, a picture takes 10 to 15 seconds in ComfyUI on an RTX A4500.
Known limits:
At 4 steps the picture stays close to your screenshot. It looks like a cleaned-up screenshot more than new art.
At 20 steps it draws a new scene more often. In my tests it did for Hard Burn and Cats Against Humanity, and the Saltblade picture still stayed close to the screenshot.
At 4 steps the Cats Against Humanity picture kept a small speech-bubble label and a selection ring from the screenshot.
I only tested one size, 1232x704, with the LoRA at strength 1.0.
How to use it:
Picture 1 is one screenshot of your game.
Write the prompt in the form below, and change only the genre, the style and the scene.
Genre is one of: roguelike, card game, metroidvania, platformer, shooter, horror, survival, strategy, simulation, racing, sports, fighting, rpg, puzzle, visual novel, rhythm, party game, sandbox, adventure, action, casual.
Style is one of: pixel art, dark pixel art, colorful pixel art, low-poly 3D, realistic 3D, dark gritty 3D, stylized 3D, retro horror, painterly fantasy, dark storybook, hand-drawn cartoon, anime illustration, minimalist flat, neon abstract, sci-fi interface, monochrome retro.
The scene is one plain sentence about the main subject and the place. Don't put a title or any other words in it.
Run at 1232x704 with the LoRA at strength 1.0 and a single space as the negative prompt. Use 4 steps at CFG 1 with the Qwen-Image-Edit-2509 Lightning 4-step LoRA at strength 1.0. If you want a new scene instead of a cleaned-up screenshot, use 20 steps at CFG 4 without the Lightning LoRA.
Make title-page key art for this game from the screenshot, with no title, logo or text. Genre: strategy. Style: realistic 3D. Scene: Rust-orange warships trade missile fire and explode in a dusty teal nebula, tense and industrial hard science fiction. The prompt form matters. Cover Art was trained on this one way of writing it, and it follows that best.
Add your title with Claude:
Give this prompt to Claude (Sonnet or Opus) with your picture, and it adds your title in a font that fits.
Add my game's title to this cover art.
- Image: cover.png
- Title: <your game's title>
- Tagline (optional): <one short line>
Pick a free Google Font that fits the art's style. Put the title where the picture has the most open space, and keep it
off faces and the main subject. Make it big and easy to read on any part of the picture: use a colour from the art, with
a soft dark shadow or a thin outline. Keep everything 5% in from the edges. Put the tagline under the title, smaller.
Write one HTML file that shows the image at its full size with the title over it. Then use Playwright to save it as
cover-titled.png at the same size. Show me that picture, plus two other placements or fonts I can pick from.License: Spritely Model License v1, https://spritely.studio/model-license. Description
ComfyUI workflows: download them from the Files list on this version and drag one into ComfyUI. The main one runs 4 steps with the Lightning LoRA. The other one runs 20 steps.
Cover Art v1 makes a 1232x704 title-page picture from one game screenshot, with no text on it.
Base model: Qwen-Image-Edit-2509 (listed under Qwen on Civitai). No trigger words. The prompt form is what the model learned.

Output size 1232x704. That is the size I tested.
LoRA strength 1.0, negative prompt a single space.
4 steps, CFG 1, with the Qwen-Image-Edit-2509 Lightning 4-step LoRA (Qwen-Image-Edit-2509-Lightning-4steps-V1.0-bf16) at strength 1.0, Euler sampler, simple scheduler, shift 1.9. In ComfyUI on an RTX A4500 this took 10 to 15 seconds per picture.
20 steps, CFG 4, Euler sampler, simple scheduler, shift 1.9, without the Lightning LoRA. In ComfyUI on an RTX A4500 this took about 85 seconds per picture.
The workflow scales the screenshot to 0.41 megapixels before it encodes it. That is the size it was trained with.
The workflow loads these ComfyUI files: qwen_image_edit_2509_fp8_e4m3fn.safetensors, qwen_2.5_vl_7b_fp8_scaled.safetensors and qwen_image_vae.safetensors from Comfy-Org, and the Lightning LoRA from lightx2v/Qwen-Image-Lightning.
LoRA rank 16 on Qwen-Image-Edit-2509, trained with musubi-tuner for 1,500 steps. Converted to the Diffusers / ComfyUI key format.
