00:00:13 — INITIAL OBSERVATION

The organism was presumed nonviable following the cessation of all measurable biological activity.

No respiration. No circulation. No detectable neural response.

Decomposition was expected to begin within the standard observation window.

It did not.

At 03:17, monitoring equipment registered a structural deviation inside the specimen's outer carapace. The change was initially attributed to thermal expansion of the surrounding material.

At 03:19, the carapace moved against the restraints.

At 03:21, the restraints were found intact.

The organism was no longer in the position in which it had been secured.

No movement was recorded.

00:04:52 — MORPHOLOGICAL DISCREPANCY

The specimen's original anatomical profile is no longer consistent with current observations.

Previously documented extremities have either disappeared or been incorporated into newly formed structures. Additional segmentation has appeared along the dorsal surface. Internal mass distribution remains impossible to reconcile with the organism's current dimensions.

These changes do not correspond to any known process of tissue repair, cellular regeneration, or adaptive mutation.

The organism is not recovering.

It is replacing itself.

Microscopic examination suggests that the original biological structure was not destroyed. Rather, it appears to have been used as a framework upon which an entirely different configuration has developed.

The initial specimen may not have represented an adult organism.

It may not have represented an organism at all.

00:11:06 — FIELD INTERFERENCE

The observation field has begun exhibiting irregular distortions.

Instruments positioned outside the containment perimeter register fluctuations that do not correspond to any detectable physical source. Image capture produces inconsistent results. Several recordings depict anatomical features that cannot be found when the specimen is examined directly.

In one instance, the monitoring system recorded a structure extending from the organism's thoracic cavity.

The recording lasted six frames.

The structure was absent from the preceding and subsequent images.

It was subsequently identified in seven additional recordings, each captured by a separate camera at a different time.

The structure was not present in the room.

It was present in the recordings.

Technicians have been instructed to discontinue all attempts at reconstruction.

00:18:44 — BEHAVIORAL CHANGE

The organism has begun orienting itself toward observation equipment.

This behavior is considered impossible.

The specimen possesses no documented visual organs capable of resolving the position of the monitoring array. It has no confirmed sensory structures corresponding to the responses observed.

Nevertheless, its movements demonstrate an increasing awareness of personnel, equipment, and changes in the observation environment.

When a camera is disabled, the organism becomes motionless.

When the camera is restored, it resumes its previous activity.

When all cameras are disabled simultaneously, the monitoring system continues to record movement.

The footage obtained under these conditions contains no recognizable image.

Only a series of pale, irregular shapes against a dark background.

These shapes become progressively clearer when the footage is played backward.

Playback has been prohibited.

Specializing in dark, gothic or devilish imagery featuring grotesque mythological beasts with fur and horns of biblical proportion. Or mechanical, bio-mechanical structures and creatures that could be overflowing with glowing yellow neon liquid veins. It could range from anything to a Xenomorph with spindly bio-mechanical Giger-esque frame, or Werewolves that are true feral beasts with foaming mouths and fur matted with blood, Vampires with distended jaws and teeth with eyes that pierce a horrific red. Even something from the 40k verse. Might even catch a Necromorph or two. Symbiotes are also a favored delicacy.
