Ethereal Rift (V1)
My LoRAs are freely accessible — I don’t require anything, but giving a “Like” is greatly appreciated.
There are styles that decorate an image… and there are styles that change the way a scene feels.
Ethereal Rift belongs to the second kind.
This LoRA was built from the visual language that naturally runs through my own creations — not around one subject, one genre, or one recurring motif.
Its purpose is to bring together the things I repeatedly look for in an image: deep atmosphere, dramatic light, rich materials, unusual textures, surreal tension, altered scale, organic or fragmented forms, and that thin line where beauty starts to become unsettling.
Ethereal Rift does not need to turn everything into fantasy. Give it an ordinary subject and it can remain restrained, textured and cinematic. Give it something strange, impossible, decayed or surreal, and it has much more room to reveal its darker and more unexpected side.
Depending on the prompt, its visual language can lean into:
deep shadows and dramatic contrasts
atmospheric or vaporous depth
organic, mineral, mechanical or decaying textures
translucent, reflective and altered materials
fine structures, fibers, filaments and intricate details
monumental or distorted scale
quiet, unsettling environments
surrealism that can range from subtle to impossible
beauty balanced with strangeness and unease
What mattered most to me with this LoRA was strength before haze.
I wanted a model with a solid visual foundation — something capable of holding structure, detail and composition instead of relying on beautiful fog to create an atmosphere. Its softer and more vaporous side is there when the prompt calls for it, but it isn't the whole identity.
The concept comes from your prompt; Ethereal Rift shapes the way that concept is expressed.
It was not designed specifically for portraits, flowers, gothic architecture, or any single type of image. Try it on people, objects, machines, abandoned places, landscapes, creatures, architecture or completely impossible scenes.
Sometimes the Rift whispers.
Sometimes it opens.

Recommended weight
0.7 – 0.9 → subtle influence
1.0 – 1.15 → balanced, reliable result
1.2 – 1.35 → stronger stylistic transformation
How I recommend using it
Start simple.
You don't necessarily need to describe the style itself. Give Ethereal Rift a subject, a place, a situation or an impossible idea and let the LoRA interpret it.
It can work with detailed prompts, but some of the most interesting results may come from leaving it enough freedom to surprise you.
Make it quiet. Make it strange. Make it unsettling. Make it yours.
If you use it, I’d love to see what you create with it. ✨
✨ UPDATE — MiniMax H3 Version Available
Ethereal Rift is now available for MiniMax H3.
The H3 version was trained specifically to bring the visual language of Ethereal Rift into motion — its deep atmosphere, dramatic contrasts, altered materials, strange environments and balance between beauty and unease.
Rather than imposing a specific subject or concept, the LoRA influences how H3 interprets and expresses your scene, while allowing the base model to retain its strong motion and video coherence.
The H3 version uses the same trigger:
ethrift
For the best results, include the trigger directly in your video prompt.
The concept comes from your prompt. The Rift changes how it feels.
