Nana Asahina is photographer for a tabloid newspaper who is transformed into a youma by Kunzite to spy on the Sailor Senshi. As Oniwabandana, she was given the task of investigating whether the Sailor Senshi were disbanding (due to the girls staging this as a means of entry into the Dark Kingdom.) She witnessed the girls first "fight" at the beginning of the episode and reported it to Beryl, who asked her to monitor the situation.
