The essence of my Hype Comics A-Train Illustrious checkpoint merge distilled into a style Lora and then merged with varying block weights to emphasize the anatomy, facial structure, line and shading quality.
The aesthetic is a strong mix of J Scott Campbell style, mixed with Jim Lee and Marc Silvestri. Giving a composite Image Comics/Top Cow aesthetic.
Expect thin and muscular girls with round breasts and cute faces with eyes angled up at the outter corners by default.
This is what it does.

May want to put "anime" in the negative.
Probably don't stack style loras on top. It has it's own very opinionated style already, so stacking styles on top is probably a recipe for a muddy mess.

Well! I had promised myself I wouldn't switch to Anima, since Illustrious and Krea 2 were enough for me and 2,700 LoRAs is already a lot! But then, the showcase images for this checkpoint completely won me over, I love the style!
Thank you so much.
Also, I made this merge for Illustrious first, so you could use that one if the conflict tears at your soul. 😆
@DeRivitiveKraftwork Too late! But I'll definitely try your version for Illustrious :)
The thing is, once I switch from the old version to the new one, I find it hard to go back because the improvement is just so good! That’s what happened when I moved from Pony to Illust; even though I still use Pony occasionally, it’s purely out of nostalgia. I’m afraid the same thing will happen with Illust, Anima, and Krea 2—which I’ve been using for a while now. What holds me back is thinking about all those hours spent collecting LoRAs that I eventually stop using. It’s a shame! :)
@Cony3D word of caution: The Illustrious version is a merge of multiple loras and checkpoints, so it won't play as well with additional loras stacked on top; it gets muddy. Also make sure you look at my positive and negative starter prompts for it. Since it has a multiple styles combined, it can go in different directions depending on your prompt. This Anima version is just one lora which was distilled from images created with the OG Illustrious version, and then merged into base Anima. So it is a much more stable style.
@DeRivitiveKraftwork Thanks a lot for the info. I'm doing a lot of testing with the Anima version right now—I'm just starting out with these models, as well as with Krea 2, so I'm trying to get the hang of things. By the way, thanks for the tips—that's really nice of you! ;)
