Excellent looking model, but can I ask you what is the hype with Anima that people have started using it more and more? Was I using it wrong?
Like, it looks a little different visually, but as far as debauchery goes, I'm not seeing what it does differently that Illustrious or Noob couldn't also do and much faster at than it does.
I don’t know what hype you’re talking about; people use Anima quite rarely. On average, loras for it are downloaded about 200 times, whereas older models are downloaded by the thousands much more easily, since most people use them.
Also, Krea came out — it also offers really cool visuals and greater flexibility in prompts, and many people have switched to it.
And, in my experience (I used to use ill models for generation), Anima produces significantly better quality when the styles are set up correctly; it seems obvious to me, and it’s much faster because with ill in ConfyUI you often have to refine things using Face Detailer to achieve a decent level of quality, whereas Anima produces high‑quality art right away, with rare exceptions
@AncientFlame Maybe I over stated how much more Anima is being used, to rephrase, it was better adopted than other recent models to where I see regular lora uploads for such a new model.
I've not had a chance to talk to anyone about it, so I don't know better. Thanks for the explanation!
