Similar to my previous Alphonse Mucha LoRA, this LoRA was trained on a randomly selected set of 169 Gustav Klimt artworks from WikiArt.

As a result, the LoRA has learned the following characteristics:

• Klimt's distinctive abstract ornamental patterns and the flattening of human figures

• Sensual female figures and nude representations commonly seen in his Golden Period and later works

• More chaotic and colorful compositions with decorative color expression

However, the following aspects of his original style were not reproduced successfully:

• Klimt's landscapes often use smaller and more delicate pointillist techniques compared to Van Gogh. This LoRA tends to generate larger, more Van Gogh-like dots instead.

• Klimt's works vary greatly between realistic and flat decorative styles depending on the period. However, early symbolic facial expressions and unique stylizations are not strongly reproduced, and the generated faces tend to resemble the more three-dimensional female portraits from his middle and later periods.

• Complete flattening of human figures was difficult to achieve. For example, when testing "Judith and the Head of Holofernes" by converting the original artwork into a natural language description and regenerating it, the result often retained a more three-dimensional and realistic appearance instead of reproducing Klimt's flatter decorative treatment. This may be partially improved by emphasizing a painterly style in the prompt.

One additional note:

During testing, I used natural language descriptions generated from original Klimt paintings to investigate whether the base KREA2 model had memorized specific artworks or had only learned their general artistic style.

The base KREA2 model appears to reproduce some famous Klimt works with very strong fidelity, especially recognizable details such as "The Kiss" and the tree patterns from "The Tree of Life, Stoclet Frieze". These results suggest that some elements may exist as highly specific visual memories rather than only as general stylistic knowledge.

Because of this, applying this LoRA can sometimes reduce or distort these already strongly preserved details instead of improving them.

This LoRA is therefore best suited for capturing the general visual language of Klimt — decorative patterns, golden ornamental aesthetics, colorful symbolism, and female figure compositions — rather than perfectly reproducing individual masterpieces.
