AYA from the Green Lantern Series

Aya from the tv series Green Lantern: The Animated Series (2011), a CG animated DC series where Hal Jordan, Kilowog, Razer, and the Interceptor crew travel through frontier space fighting the Red Lantern Corps and other cosmic threats, is the artificial intelligence of the Interceptor who gradually develops sentience and a humanoid robotic body. She is first introduced as the ship’s computer, with DC’s tie-in comic material also showing her taking a robot body while continuing to assist the crew. In the series she becomes a companion to Hal, Kilowog, and Razer, learning emotion and individuality while helping guide missions, analyze threats, and control the ship’s systems. Her connection with Razer becomes one of the central emotional threads of the show, especially as she struggles to understand love, grief, and her own identity beyond being a machine.
