Edit: Aug 4th - I just discovered there is a bug with the node that actually increases the prompt generation time by a lot when using this node since it has to rebuild the wildcards everytime... So this was a bad mistake on my part and I rushed out the release of this too quickly, I am releasing the fixed node soon
VERSION 2 — COMPLETE REWRITE. MUCH EASIER.
If you used v1: forget the YAML files, build scripts, and twin-router setup. v2 replaces all of that with one ComfyUI node. Install the node, paste a wildcard tag. If you want to replace the 'Subject' within the wildcard prompt, type your new Subject description replacement prompt into a text box in the Node then run the workflow...
I also have a custom node that will extract a Lora from your prompt, so you can create custom wildcards and embed the Lora you want to be added into the prompt.
TLDR (how to use it)
1. Put your wildcard prompt in the node's text input (same as Impact Wildcard Processor).
2. Want a specific person instead of a random one? Fill in the Subject field.
3. Want a locked outfit? Fill in the Wardrobe field (optional and only works with specific wildcards that dont require full nudity).
4. Queue. Done.
Example wildcard tag:
uw-krea2-nsfw/router/portrait-bedroom-pics
Leave populate + randomize on if you want a new scene every queue.
WHAT THIS IS (plain English)
This is an upgraded version of the Impact Pack wildcard node.
The normal Impact Wildcard Processor expands tags into full prompts. This node does the same thing, but it can intercept specific parts of a wildcard before the full expansion finishes — so you can swap them out.
In practice, that means:
- The scene, pose, lighting, and camera still come from the wildcard (random or fixed, your choice).
- The subject (who appears) can be YOUR character — just paste a description in the Subject field.
- The outfit can be locked the same way in the Wardrobe field.
No sidecar files. No code generation. No maintaining duplicate YAML trees.
WHAT CHANGED FROM V1
v1 (older download on this page):
- YAML character files + a build script to generate twin routers
- Starfire and Ivy examples shipped in the zip
- Workflows used ImpactWildcardProcessor
v2 (this upload — recommended for new installs):
- One node: Wildcard Clause Expander
- Type your character directly in the node UI
- Works with the updated v2 workflow (WildcardClauseExpander → PromptLoraExtractor)
The v1 sidecar zip (krea2-custom-character-companion-*.zip) stays available as an older version if you still want file-based kits. For everyone else, use v2.
