Misty from the anime Bomberman Jetters (2002), a sci-fi adventure series based on the Bomberman franchise where White Bomber joins the Jetters to protect the universe from the Hige Hige Bandits while searching for the truth behind his missing brother Mighty, she is an anthropomorphic catgirl and space thief who first appears stealing rare Unique Items across the universe. She begins as a selfish and sharp-tempered outsider who often clashes with the Jetters, especially Birdy, because of her thief lifestyle, but her connection to Mighty gives her a more personal role in the story. Through flashbacks, Misty is shown to have had a flirtatious relationship with Mighty, who once tried to convince her to abandon stealing and join the Jetters, even giving her a Jetters Badge before it was broken during a conflict. Later in the series, she discovers Bomber Zero, an android carrying Mighty’s memories, personality, and abilities, and she becomes deeply attached to him while trying to draw out the parts of Mighty still within him. Her role shifts from rival-like thief to supporting ally, with her feelings for Mighty and her link to Zero tying her closely to the emotional side of the series’ main mystery.
