Death Devil from Chainsaw Man. The Fourth Horseman finally has a face — and I trained a LoRA for her. 35 hand-picked images, one consistent design. Ringed red eyes, those iconic triangle earrings, moles under both eyes, and that grayish pink hair that changes color depending on the light. Just like Fujimoto intended.

She's not supposed to have many expressions. She's death. She doesn't need to scream or threaten. She just... looks at you. And that's enough.

⚙️ RECOMMENDED SETTINGS

LoRA weight: 0.85 to 1.0
Personally I run her at 1.0. She holds strong even against other character LoRAs.

CFG: 5 to 5.5
This is the sweet spot. Higher and the ringed eyes get weird. Lower and the outfit drifts.

Sampler: Euler Ancestral or DPM++ 2M Karras
Steps: 25 to 35
Resolution: 832×1248 (2:3) or 1024×1024


⚠️ KNOWN ISSUES
============================================================

Sometimes the pinafore dress disappears and she's just in a shirt and skirt. Add "black pinafore dress, sleeveless dress, square neckline" to your prompt if this happens. Usually only crops up at extreme angles.

At very low weights (below 0.7), the ringed eyes can fade to normal pupils. Bump the weight if you're losing the concentric rings.

If stacking with other character LoRAs, she can get overwhelmed. Pump her weight to 1.0-1.2 and lower the competing LoRA. The identity block is strong but not invincible.

Some extreme wide shots lose the facial moles. They're tiny details — close-up shots preserve them better.

The bowtie sometimes turns red instead of black. Add "black bowtie, black ribbon" to reinforce.

✅ COMPATIBLE WITH

Illustrious SDXL (all versions), NoobAI, Hassaku, and most other Illustrious-based anime checkpoints. Tested primarily on illustriousXL20_v20. Should be portable since Illustrious 2.0 is the clean base, not a merge.

Also works on Pony-based checkpoints with slightly different prompt conventions — add "score_9, score_8_up, source_anime" prefix.


💡 TIPS: STACKING WITH OTHER LORAS

If the Death Devil's features get washed out by another character LoRA, pump her weight to 1.0-1.2 and lower the other LoRA to 0.5-0.7. Her identity block is strong but competing LoRAs at equal weight will fight her for dominance.

For outfit swaps: she takes external outfit LoRAs well at 0.6-0.8 weight. Just make sure the competing LoRA is also at a moderate weight or she'll override it with her default pinafore.

LoRA Manager compatible. After downloading, she'll appear as a toggleable slot in ComfyUI.


👻 WHO IS THE DEATH DEVIL?

The Death Devil is the eldest of the Four Horsemen in Chainsaw Man — the final sister alongside Control (Makima/Nayuta), War (Yoru), and Famine (Fami). She debuted in Chapter 195.

Unlike what you'd expect from "Death," she appears as a high school girl in uniform. She's whiny. Emotional. She cries when people suffer. And she genuinely believes she's saving humanity — by releasing them from the pain of living. Through death.

In her own words: "Through death... I'll release you from your Earthly suffering."

Her design follows the Horseman pattern — ringed eyes, moles on the face, school uniform — but stands apart with her grayish mountbatten pink hair and distinctive black triangle earrings. She's also canonically obsessed with food. The girl loves fast food. This is actual manga canon.
