### 📦 Installation
1. Download the node archive.

The node comes with *14 pre-installed fonts** in various styles inside the internal fonts directory.
* Want to add your own? Just drop any .ttf, .otf, or .ttc font files directly into the fonts folder inside this custom node directory. They will be indexed automatically on the next ComfyUI startup!

Hey everyone! The ComfyUI-SimpleTextOverlay node just got a huge upgrade. What started as a basic text generator has evolved into a full-featured typographic tool.
Everything is completely free and open-source as always. Here is what’s new in v3.0!

### ✨ What’s New?
#### 1. 🖼️ Live Font Previews
* See before you pick: No more guessing how a font looks! Selected fonts now display a visual preview box right inside the node.
* Add your own fonts easily: Want to use your custom fonts? Just throw your .ttf or .otf files into the fonts/ folder and double-click run_preview_generator.bat. It will automatically generate preview images for all of them!
#### 2. 🎨 Multi-Line & Custom Colors
* Different sizes per line: Enter values like 100,120,80 in font_sizes to scale each line individually.
* Individual line colors: Set unique colors for up to 4 lines line1_color ... line4_color) with handy built-in color pickers.
* Background plates: Add solid color background boxes behind each line line1_bg ... line4_bg).
#### 3. 📐 Better Layout & Background Controls
* Separated margins: Now you can adjust horizontal margin_x) and vertical margin_y) padding independently.

* Super-sampling: Added a supersample setting (2× / 4×) for super sharp edges and smooth shadows.

### 📦 How to Install / Update
1. Update or replace the files in your ComfyUI/custom_nodes/ComfyUI-SimpleTextOverlay/ directory.
2. (Optional) Put your custom fonts into the fonts/ folder and run run_preview_generator.bat to build previews for them.
3. Restart ComfyUI and refresh your browser!
