Everytime the same. "Simply install the missing node-group with the manager". What a joke. I tried to install the "comfyui-joycaption" node-group. The result is a message from Comfyui "Fail to find the following comfyregistry list. The cache may be outdated .....". Nevertheless the node-group was installed, except the node "JC_GUFF" !!!!. Then i have watched into the directory from Custom-nodes/ComfyUI-JoyCaption. Here i found a file called requirements_gguf.txt. For the JC_GUFF this requirements have to be installed. Therefor i installed this requirements, during the installation many errors was display, because i use the portable ComfyUI-Version. But the requirements_gguf.txt is written only for users with the desktop version because the installation goes to the python-directory on the c: - drive, not to the python-embeded from the portable ComfyUI. I have no experiences with python, so i don't know what to do. Therefore the workflow is useless for me, pity. But thanks for your work.

Hi. I'm on the Comfyui portable build too. If you can't get the node to work from the manager you could try getting it directly from here - 1038lab/ComfyUI-JoyCaption: Joy Caption is a ComfyUI node using the LLaVA model to generate stylized image captions, supporting batch processing and GGUF models.

@ThuckMaBaws Hello and thanks for your answer. I have tried that. The problem is the neccessary to install the llame -Library for python (it's needed for the GGUF node). That is wirtten in the "update requirements_gguf.txt" file. If i install that with pip the installation goes in the python-library on the c - drive not to the library from the portable pyhton (python-embeded). That can i see in the log-file. But I don´t know how i can change the direction of the installation. Out of curiosity, I have install the desktop Version from ComfyUI (that use the python from the c-drive) ...... and it runs. Do you know that there are 5 different possible installation methods for ComfyUI 😁. Have a nice time.

@Mikel007 Try going into your python embedded folder in the ComfyUI portable folder, right click and select "Open in Terminal". Run the pip install command there.
