Did you just use character art from the games, or did training also include specific scenes?
About half and half, probably. I extracted all the CGs to get all the standing portraits (some of them were not online) and then selected as many scenes as possible, trying to prioritize the ones where the man wasn't very relevant.
Not sure if it helps, but usually I also mask male faces and tag them as "faceless male", to avoid confusion with things like their expressions/eye color and so on.

@savageactual I may look into it; Nagayori is the other Atelier Sakura I really liked, back when they still were releasing decent works. The good things about character LORAs is that, even with the limited data of a CG set, you don't need to worry about not being enough like it happens with outfits.
