Orla is a tough, kind and dependable Glyptodon of considerable experience. She’s lived a full life and is approaching her retirement age, but has found solace and direction in a maternal role, first as an adoptive mother to her son Gale, and now as a day care worker for a small school on a neighbouring island. She’s been the emotional rock for other Paleofolk her whole life, and has recently had a significant career change from being a bodyguard for some of the world’s most important Paleofolk. Fearing she would leave Gale with no one should something happen to her on a job, she now resides in Amber Isle looking a change of pace from an often adrenaline filled life. Unfortunately, the kids in the day care put her through an adrenaline filled day of a totally different kind!
