Super basic but effective workflow. Dump all the videos you want upscaled, interpolated, or both into a folder and then add the same number of prompts to the queue as you have files in that folder. That's it.
GIMM-VFI in my experience has much better results than RIFE.

Thanks for this, i was looking for a stand-alone video upscaler. I'm having some issues, though: I'm trying to upscale a video from 720x464 to as close as 1920x1080 as possible, but the end result is still a huge 2880x1856 video, even when i set the ds_factor to 0.25.. any ideas?
ds factor does not change the scaling of the image. If you want to change that you'll need to use a different upscaler (that's what the "4x" or "2x" in the upscaler title means). The purpose of ds factor is if you feed GIMM VFI a video that is high resolution, like 4k, and you want the model to process a lower resolution image so you don't run out of memory. It doesn't change the resolution, just allows the VFI to interpolate without running out of memory
It sounds like you are using a 4x upscaler. You have two options here: 1. use a Resize Image node right after the upscaler, then set it to 1920x1080. This will give you exactly what you want. However, your aspect ratio is slightly off, so it will look slightly stretched; your original videos need a ratio of 1.77 and yours is 1.69.
2. use a 2x upscaler. You'll get a 1440x928 video, but it will process significantly faster than option 1, and the aspect ratio will be perfectly the same
@magicballoon I understand now, thanks for the clarification!
