Looking to make an image that evokes the covers of those classic romance comic books from the 1960 and 1970s? Try this! It was trained on around 60 covers from a variety of romance comic book covers from the big publishers. Simply use "romance_comics_cover" to trigger it. For a truly authentic romance comic cover, be sure to prompt for "sad," "crying,"
"running away," or "kissing," as that's basically all that happens on them.
As with any LoRA, results will vary depending on the checkpoint and weights. The higher the weight, the more of a "comic book" look this tends to generate. I've checked it against a few of my favorite checkpoints, and have yet to run into anything too weird. It also seems to play nicely with artistic style LoRAs, although I'll need to spend a little more time experimenting to be sure.
I'm not sure what the use case is for this, but I had a lot of fun playing around with it in testing. If you have questions, tips, or advice for the 2.0 version, please leave a comment.

This looks great... well done... still busy but will try out soon, thanks!
Honest question: Given the source material you used, what is it that makes the faces look as manga/anime-like as they do? Rather than looking like classic '60s-'70s images you drew from (John Romita, John Buscema, Win Mortimer, Matt Baker, etc. I assume)?
