I am a perfect soldier.Mysterious sponsor of Kaiser Knuckle’s titular tournament and the game’s final boss. A strong contender for the most overpowered fighting game boss in the genre’s history. He has a teleport, a spammable projectile with a large hitbox that goes in three directions simultaneously, a slide kick that hits three times and chains to itself, and an entire moveset that is safe on block among other super broken behavior. He’s so OP a faithful port to Mugen is capable of taking on even deliberately broken joke characters. Since they own Taito now, he’s a must include if we ever get a Square-Enix crossover fighter.

Made with 24 pics off his main sprite sheet, three character portraits, his boss intro, and Marco’s ending (29 sprites total), plus 4 fanart and an official 30th anniversary illustration for a total of 34 images. I wanted to experiment more with using sprites for training and remembered this guy existed. A couple sprites had a pair of 1 pixel edits on the eyes to make him look at the viewer over forward for tagging purposes, or to stop him from having all black eyes. Some sprites were mirrored to ensure his scar and epaulet were always on the left side (even the sprites that will never be mirrored in game are inconsistent which side these are on, and the one piece of official art defies all the game art by having them on opposite sides, but the fanart all picked left side and isn’t as easy to mirror so left it is.
Conclusions from my tests: Face is a total mess at distance, even more than normal, but works fine with portraits. Otherwise works fine. Facefix should fix this?
Foolish brat! Did you think you could beat the General with skill like that?
