This workflow converts anime images into realistic images. There is no need to convert to semi-realism first. The workflow relies on controlnet to modify the image. I also included a reverse-engineering tool to get the prompt for z-image to generate. I have provided additional notes within the workflow to ensure it works.
For the generations show, I used my anime to real lora which will be attached below. Credit to u/OneTrueTreasure on reddit. He has a workflow that also converts anime images to workflow but it also uses Qwen. I created this workflow to only rely on z-image. For a more powerful workflow you can try theirs here https://www.reddit.com/r/StableDiffusion/comments/1qi8zqk/the_best_anime_to_real_anything_to_real_workflow/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web3x&utm_name=web3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button
All anime images show were generated with Illustrious not z-image.

When I try to load this workflow, I get a notification from Comfy saying that I'm missing some nodes. Normal enough for a new workflow.
But then the canvas is also blank, and the ComfyUI Manager plugin can't find anything to download either.
Has anyone else had this problem?
very strange let me see what I can do
just uploaded a different version. Hopefully you can see everything this time
well i tired this workflow, i thought you used img2img in it , but you just used qwen vl to generate prompt and then generated new image with controlnet-depth using that which is not very much similar to original anime image in terms of details. well thanks for it but honestly its no use to me because normal img2img works better for me , as i use google cloud so i cant use controlnet even with gguf zit model due to less vram.
The best thing is to combine this with img2img 0.5 denoise then you have img2img automatic prompts.
I'm so sorry to bother you, but I got an error saying: "FileNotFoundError: [Errno 2] No such file or directory: 'Anime to Real' " This is maybe a dumb question, but I have downloaded the LoRA file and put it into the loras folder. Did I do it right? Thank you so much!
