As a child my mum would take me into a local petshop for locally-made food for our cat. The store had a mynah bird that would look at every man who entered the shop and shout 'YOU UGLY BUGGER!'
We can only thank our lucky stars, as a peaceloving world that could in no way ever win an interstellar war, that no 12ft alien engineer ever entered that petshop.

Mynah Birds are perhaps not the ideal diplomats in sensitive interplanetary negotiations. It's good to know these things well in advance, I find.
