Minerva McGonagall is a fictional character in the Harry Potter series. She is the Deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Head of Gryffindor House, and Transfiguration teacher.

She was born and raised in Scotland to a Muggle priest and a witch.
