Eleonora Yumizuru, the aspiring Hollywood actor from Tokyo Mirage Sessions #FE
This LoRA... bar none, this is the most difficult LoRA I have ever created (at least so far), entirely because I decided it was a good idea to put all 11 of her outfits in the single LoRA. Amazingly, all of them at least function, and I am genuinely proud of that, but also wow that was a lot of work to make... well... work.

Nice pulling that off. I think the most outfits for a single character I fit into a lora was 7 (the 8th did get lost on the way).
Honestly I'm still not sure how I managed to pull it off, it took enough attempts to get something just usable that it feels like a miracle that I managed this one. XD
And I can completely relate on losing an outfit, I'm honestly amazed that I didn't lose the Splash Blue outfit in the process of this one.
Well, I guess it is possible to fit a lot of stuff into a lora (especially if you up the rank). My Taruhi lora (with 7 outfits) had only rank 16. Also I made a style/multi-char lora with 12 different characters. For me the main challenge for multiple outfit char loras would be, that you do not have a lot of bleeding between different outfits, while also maintaining adjustability within a single outfit (changing colors or removing some cllothes).
...Funnily enough, I have absolutely no idea how to up the rank when training things, or even how to check what rank I'd be creating. Gives you an idea about just how new I am to this whole process. XD
And... yeah, preventing bleed between outfits is definitely a challenge to fight with. Being conscious of that is the entire reason why Ellie's outfits are pretty heavy on the tags, at least compared to some of my other creations.
I mean, if it works, don't change the settings. :D
Since I am training locally on my own GPU, I have been trying different settings, also to improve the training speed. The rank is equivalent to the network dim (network dimension). It is called like that in the civitai trainer (first time I took a look at that). I am not too deep into the matter, but I guess the model weights are basically stored in a matrix-like construct and the rank of a matrix is the measure of its size. So a LoRa with higher rank gives you a model with larger file size. The default value in the civitai trainer seems to be 32, but for most character models a rank of 16 should be enough. At least I have been using it for all character models. I think I can learn something new with every LoRa I make and I started about a year ago. So no worries about not knowing a term. I guess it is not so hard to just jump into LoRa training and make some decent or great LoRas without knowing what happens on the backend (I don't know much either).
Aaaahhhh, I see... yeah most of my experience is with the Civit trainer, plus a couple of additional online trainers, so there's a lot of that stuff I just don't see. Relatedly, very good to know about Civit's apparent default---that'll be information to file away for if I ever need to manually upload them elsewhere again.
I didn't find jumping into the training process super difficult personally---or at least I've had a lot more uploadable results than not. But I also had the benefit of finding some good guides on here that appealed to my specific goals, and even then, it has been a learning experience in spots. XD
I also started with a great guide written by Vaelstrix and the first lora I made came out usable, but you have to adjust and taylor settings to your need for sure.
Also I want to (minor) correct myself about the rank. Turns out the rank of a LoRa is not equivalent to the rank of a matrix. However according to this article the Lora rank is a measure for the number of parameters trained during LoRa training. That is why doubling the rank will double the file size. I guess using the term "network dim" may be better, so you can't confuse it with actual matrix rank.
Nice to see someone else give TMS some love. I trained 8 outfits for Kiria (mostly successfully) and a few of those basically had 2 screencaps to work with. Her challenge was that it really just generates one of her hair styles preferentially.
Yeah... I count myself lucky that Eleonora's only hair style changes ended up being hair color and the occasional ahoge. Instead all of the challenges ended up being in the outfits... and getting the references together, some of those outfits (the swimsuits) were rough.
And yeah I remember your Kiria model! That one is downright impressive work! It... may be responsible for convincing me that pulling off a full model for Ellie here was possible XD.
Well it looks good. I'll test her out with some of my FEH artist styles soon
Fingers crossed that your tests go smoothly!
She works really well with the different styles.
This is an excellent LoRA! #FE characters are difficult to recreate, so I'm grateful. I'd be very happy if you could also make LoRAs of Tsubasa, Mamori, and Kiria!
In regards to Tsubasa and Kiria, before I try to put anything together, have you tried out the Loras made by Caca26 (Tsubasa) and Montblanc5 (Kiria)? If memory serves both of those are pretty strong models already, especially the Kiria one.
I can definitely look into Mamori though! Though I wouldn't expect her before the New Year, if for no other reason than I need to build back up my Blue Buzz supply before I tackle another mammoth LoRA like this one. XD
