Are you not able to prompt candid shots on the beach normally? What does this enhance?
Another LoRA that does ... something Krea can already easily do on its own? Sick?
I think that people don’t understand how this is something more personal vs accommodating considering how spoiled we are with DiT models vs SDXL. I’m loving every minute of it. The pores, the sand, the clean anatomy, all of it.
LoRA is trained using a large dataset to produce more realistic results. You just have to compare the results with and without LoRA to see the difference. Something people probably didn't get to do ^^
@enzino I agree. I think that people are just pissed in general about Civitai going downhill since the server rental contract was lost. People without the GPUs to run locally are cooking right now while sharpening pitchforks. Sadly, it will probably get worse with more haters before it gets better.
@freestuffpl0x42069 The problem is that this might discourage people from posting here. A lot of designers are now switching to a 100% paid model after early access ends. That’s not the case for me. All my work is free, except for FP16 versions or other exclusives. But this kind of reaction knowing that we’re giving our time for free makes me less and less inclined to post here. Unfortunately, that’s also where the loss comes from. After comments like that, I just ignore them. I’m not interested.
Yeah, nah, people are just annoyed with the avalanche of Krea2 LoRAs that do nothing that the model can't do on its own, particularly with decent prompting. No one is forcing people to waste their money making LoRAs for no reason. If they want to take their toys and go play in their sandbox at home then that's their prerogative. They could also just, ya know, focus their resources on creating things that don't already exist.
@REALMZEROFIVE Personally, when something bothers me, I just move on. But I do listen to the feedback, all feedback is worth considering, even though my goal is always to create and innovate through the design of my models. For this one, I just made a Krea version of the Lora ZIT, nothing more. I don’t think I’m the first to do this, but everyone spends their time as they see fit :)
@enzino you're not the first, that's the problem. Everyone is just trying to farm buzz with low-effort LoRAs that don't do anything unique, with no thoguht given to the fact that the model isn't ZIT or anything else. But hey, you do you, I guess.
@REALMZEROFIVE You need to keep in mind that sometimes people use civitai to share progress while they experiment. If you look at my page you’ll see some shit LoRAs, but they’re my 1st. Somehow one has 100+ downloads but clearly some people like it. If 1 person likes it then I’m happy. Feedback is great when given respectfully.
Plus, he made it free, bro. If he did it on site it took 750 buzz, if he did it on his personal computer then it cooked his GPU. Either way, it took several hours to make. Have you ever spent hours to make a LoRA with a vision that you expected and it turns out shit? I have, and it sucks.
I’m sure it doesn’t suck as much as having sand in your vagina, though. I’m joking, I had to say it because the burn was just waiting with this being a beach LoRA.
@REALMZEROFIVE But in all seriousness, I know what you mean to an extent. It’s more-so of a beach prompt preference vs a total style revamp like the old LoRAs were with SDXL and Pony.
I think that this is a moment where creators are being challenged. This weekend I plan on trying to get down SIPO vs DPO. I have the code made and 300 images so far, but I’m aiming for 2500 at 1024x1024. That’s 35 hours with a heater on and no AC in hot temps. Don't get impatient, get excited bro. We have been spoiled in the 2026 with AI. 😎
