Gildarts Clive is a character in the anime and manga series Fairy Tail, one of the guild's S-Class Mages. He is also known as the guild's Ace.

He took on the most difficult task offered by the Magic Council, the "Centennial Task," but returned three years later due to the intervention of the Black Dragon (Acnologia). He lost his left arm, leg, and several organs in battle.
