And before anyone says anything, yes they do: Reindeer are a weird species where the females do have antlers. In-fact, the males will have shed their antlers well before Christmas while the females retain them longer, meaning Santa's having antlers at Christmas would indicate they're all female (and/or magic)
Thanks for the explanation thats really interesting! It makes me wonder how many stories intended Santa's reindeer to be female. I never thought of historical Christmas info as lore but I guess it is?
In Red One (released 2024) they did specifically say that the reindeer are female but I think Rudolph is usually male (at lease he was in the first Rudolph appearance from 1939).
On the other hand, I'm also good with the "They are magic" explanation lol.
