FlatXL is an SDXL-based model (Trained & Merged) focused on clean, flat yet detailed illustration, designed to pair especially well with ControlNet and Detail Daemon for crisp, high‑quality images in ComfyUI workflows. It ships with ready‑to‑use embedded workflows so users can quickly plug it into their pipelines and start generating consistent results with minimal setup.​

Model focus

FlatXL is tuned to produce smooth, stylized visuals with reduced “plastic” artifacts while still retaining strong textures and fine details. It is well suited for character art, keyframes, and concept pieces where clean shading, controlled contrast, and stable anatomy are important.​

Use with CNet

FlatXL works particularly well when combined with ControlNet (CNet), allowing users to lock in pose, composition, depth, or line art while the model focuses on style and rendering. Depth, canny, and line‑art ControlNet presets are recommended to keep silhouettes tight and layouts consistent across a series of images.​

Use with Daemon Detailer
