It's about Operators contracting Employees to deploy them in battles against robots, monsters, aliens and whatever else they encounter in their universe. Apparently. (Sound familiar?)
Description
Agnes Abigail is a Sniper who can leave marks on enemies with her basic attacks that permanently reduce their stats.
Agnes, the successor of the Valentinus Monastery, was a watcher who punished those who intrude the monastery for sacrilegious purposes. She was a hunter who chose prey for sacrifice in a secret ritual.
And now that the monks to be protected from intruders and the rituals that require sacrifices have faded away beyond the fog of time, Agnes stays in the monastery, always waiting for someone. Perhaps the someone could be the one seeking forbidden knowledge that secretly lies in the monastery, or a visitor to whom she would like to serve egg tarts.
Agnes Abigail was one of the key figures who helped the current President reform the Society.
After exacting her revenge, she abandoned the monastery's long-held wish and turned her attention to what she already had. Namely, the famed egg tarts and beer of the Valentinus Monastery, as well as the people she vowed to protect. For now, Agnes sets aside her nun's habit to devot herself to her own small wish.
She may still be a ruthless, merciless watcher to intruders, but to those she cherishes, she's simply an abbot who warmly serves them egg tarts.
One the surface, Agnes seems tepid and friendly in contrast to most other members of ESPR, who are usually zealous, stern and grim. She usually has a smile on her face and likes to welcome visitors to her monastery with egg tarts. She is not really concerned about the unethical activities carried out by the Society in their search for the Lake of Knowledge but saw no harm in Regina MacCready's attempt to terminate them either.
Secretly, however, Agnes harbors a grudge against the Society as a whole for the purging most of its Religion Department's members after a ritual that went awry. She wanted to see the organization collapse and took clandestine steps to do so— her support for Regina was because she had the potential to create mass conflict within the Society.
