@MagicArt35 VUIANoise seems like a very nice, yet subtle improvement/progression over Vael, I think!

Everything seems more realistic, faces aren't as Pony/cartoonish and the background, lighting and depth/dimension seem a lot better. Still wish it had a little better LoRA adherence, but overall, this is an excellent model as well, and again probably the best in the series, which means you're still going in the right direction! Thank you for sharing!

AFD_0 How did you do it, LORA?... I don't know how you do it, LORA... I hope you answer me. Thanks

@MagicArt35 LoRAs are like small mini-models (usually ~200MB) that can be loaded along side a checkpoint to make it aware of characters, concepts, positions, lighting, styles and other elements that may or may not be native knowledge to that checkpoint. I usually use a character LoRA that makes the person look like somebody in particular (whether real or fictitious, say Yoda from Star Wars or Abraham Lincoln for example). There are many available here and you can even train your own, though I think real/famous people are no longer allowed to be posted (so I never use them for public posts or anything lewd). Some checkpoints work very well with these, making the person look as intended (in face and body structure), and many others don't or just give a vague, slight resemblance to that person. Most of your models work fairly well at doing this, but that's always an aspect that most models need improvement at imo. Even so, I'd still say yours are already better than most in this regard. How a creator could make their model recognize these better, I'm not sure. Usually, it's a case of their own built-in character knowledge or styling being so strong that it overrides the users' ability to incorporate their own character using a LoRA. For testing, it's probably best to find a "not real" character here, usually a fake "AI influencer" person with a distinct physical appearance and see if your model interprets that accurately or just slightly. When a model interprets my LoRAs accurately, the person looks like the person I'm expecting, but when it doesn't, it'll often start pulling other elements from the images used to create the LoRA (like lighting, photo quality or wall color, instead of just the person's face or body). And since there is no way for your model to ever incorporate say a character of me as a real-life person, then this is just a way to accomplish such a thing.

@AFD_0 an "unreal" character, usually a fake "AI influencer" with a distinctive physical appearance, and tell me, what's the realistic AI model for celebrities or movies?

    AFD_0Mar 4, 2026

@MagicArt35 All the real-life celebrity models have been pulled from CivitAI due to site rules and law changes, though you can still find most of them at CivArchive. Conversely, you can still find some character LoRAs here for specific movie/TV characters that are designed not to look 100% identical to whichever real-life actor/actress portrayed them. Iirc, SDXL base model already has a very decent knowledge of known characters, celebrities and historical persons, but when it doesn't (say for a beautiful unknown person such as you or me), that's why it's important for models to be able to load them in later as a LoRA to give it that missing information (not merged-in or baked-in, just loaded separately by the user if needed).

Just be careful with posting samples of any real-life characters, as anything lewd could be against the law in some places and it's probably safer to just avoid posting any depictions of real-life persons at all. Though imo, Fair Use Act should allow us to create a tasteful SFW image of Elvis Presley or Napoleon Bonaparte, but I'm still unclear on the specific site rules regarding that right now.

So anyway, just to clarify, it's not that your models need more characters or anything like that, it's just that they could be better at recreating unknown characters by using separate LoRAs (though it's already fairly good at that, but could do it just a little better I think).
