I just looked into them.
She tries a whole bunch of different mediums in their posts online, like digital art, line paper art, some irl photos with editing...
It's nice. Shows they're just having fun with it.
Too bad she didn't take too kindly to your last lora version though.
Matter of fact, it feels like artists take issue with your loras much more often than anyone else on this site. Why do you think that is?
Is that true? I make these because I like ocs and I consider it fanart
@AvenueStudio Sure feels like it.
I speculate it's just a case that furry hobby OC artists are much more culturally invested in anti-AI stuff culturally.
Then again, what I'm observing here could just be a statistical error. I know a bunch of people have a "will take down on artist request" policy, so it's totally possible I'm just not able to get a read on how often they get take down requests because it's already been... well... taken down. Either that or I'm personally more likely to check out artists when you train on them.
It could also be like they feel as though their livelihood is being threatened with it or something, which I guess I can understand, though I honestly think musicians and artists should have jobs that they can support their passions with and make that money on the side. I've not ever charged for music I've created, though I've spent literally thousands on the equipment. Then again, whether what I create is worth listening to or not is another matter.
@Kaladae That would explain why artists would feel take issue in general, not why this happens more often with Avenue.
Though, I still doubt the "livelihood is being threatened" idea when you apply it to independent artists as opposed to corporate ones. Most of the people who had their back prior to AI never left, so their income isn't exactly an issue unless they're from Fiver or some other cheap service. This has always seemed more culturally rooted to me, and wealthy investors plus bad actors are probably to blame.
@Diamond_Letter Yup, I've never been in that scenario so I can't say for certain. I've noticed a handful of LoRa creators be targeted, Avenue being in that group. They may just be more visible, is all. Maybe also a sense of ownership from the creator, though that entitlement goes straight out the window soon as anything gets posted online. May be for a similar reason as to why I never share any merges or trained stuff I make, because other people would claim my work as their own and make money off of it, despite "not being allowed." But it's whatever.
@Kaladae I don't think I have ever seen that happen, so you're probably safe from that.
@Diamond_Letter I've seen quite a few, though I doubt anything I would make would garner enough attention to be targeted. I just keep this stuff as an occasional hobby.
@Kaladae Can I see where Ive been targeted?
@AvenueStudio I can't give any specific site or post, other than just for a while it seemed like every one of your uploads was being removed/hidden or flagged. Maybe it just happened on every individual one I decided to look at and no others. Maybe my perception of it was skewed.
