Description – Esmeralda Valtierrie Rocha (Lasombra)

What this model does / Purpose:
This model represents Esmeralda Valtierrie Rocha, a Lasombra vampire that I personally portrayed in Vampire: The Masquerade campaigns. She was created to bring to life the dark and mystical atmosphere that surrounds the character — a mediator between the living and the dead, mistress of shadows, and oracle of the unknown. The model is designed for character interpretation, setting development, and narrative scene visualization within the gothic and political context of the Camarilla in Rio de Janeiro.

What the model is good at:
It’s particularly effective at capturing the duality between beauty and terror that defines her essence — a mix of sensuality, manipulation, and spirituality. Ideal for depicting dark atmospheres, introspective dialogue, scenes of power and control, and strong contrasts of light and shadow, typical of the Lasombra aesthetic. It’s also excellent for exploring themes such as lost memories, mediumship, prophecy/oracle, and political power in the darkness.

Recommended use:
It can be used for character creation, illustrations, roleplay, storytelling, or RPG scene visualization, especially in contexts that involve mystery, intrigue, the supernatural, and dark elegance. I hope it inspires anyone who wishes to use it (but of course, feel free to use it however you like).

What the model is not good at:
Suggestion: It’s not suited for light-hearted, humorous, or bright-themed stories. The model is not intended for representations outside the gothic or dramatic tone, as its narrative and visual design are focused on personal horror and the shadow symbolism of the World of Darkness. (However, as I mentioned before, you’re absolutely free to use it however you wish.)

How it should not be used:
It shouldn’t be used in ways that distort the character’s concept or disrespect her introspective, spiritual, and tragic nature. Her essence lies in mystery, subtlety, and restrained power, and she should be treated with respect for the tone of Vampire: The Masquerade and the Lasombra archetype.
