Update – Drive link fixed! Everything working perfectly now 🔥

A user kindly reported that the Google Drive link was broken — it was my mistake, I accidentally moved a file to the trash thinking I had a backup copy in the checkpoint folder.
I’ve already fixed the folder configuration, re-uploaded everything and the links are 100% working again.

@ElectricDreams Will all of your future Event Horizon Nexus releases be pay-only? Really enjoyed playing around with v5.0, but really not sure why I signed-up for a reminder for v5.5, since this is just incredibly disappointing.

I understand it can be frustating but It's even more frustrating for creators. After months of trying to make it work, the recent changes on Civitai have made it increasingly difficult for creators (especially medium and small creators). The crypto-only payment system, long holds, and Buzz value no longer make sense to me for the amount of daily work that goes into these models. Creating and maintaining high-quality checkpoints takes real time and effort. To keep this sustainable, I’ll be moving new releases and full access to Whop and Ko-fi for the time being.
@ElectricDreams But after the early access period, all of these models are supposed to be available on the CivitAI on-site generator, correct? I just tried to pull up Event Horizon Nexus v5.5 in that manner and it is simply not there, only v5.0 - so if CivitAI users are unable to direct-download a model and unable to use it for on-site generation, I really don't see what the purpose is in even posting anything here any more. Am I missing something, or is this fundamentally an advertisement to use and/or purchase a product elsewhere?
And I completely understand the desire for creators to try and make money from their creations, I do. And likewise, please understand that most of us only use your models for personal, unpaid use (testing, hobby, learning, etc). I test hundreds of models each year, using each of them at most for a day or two and rarely ever revisiting them again. It is impossible (and honestly irresponsible) for me to pay $5 for every model out there, with an incredibly high chance that I probably won't even like that particular model or revision. Happens all the time, like literally every other day for me.
I really do wish you and SubtleShader luck with trying to monetize your creations, if that means it will allow you both to continue doing what you do. But honestly, I just don't see this practice being sustainable for average users here or in the best interests of a site like CivitAI for the long term. If CivitAI, TensorArt and similar sites eventually go away by not making any revenue from your off-site selling, then you'll be left without an audience to even know of your future creations, let alone purchase them. Just my opinion, of course.
@AFD_0 Models (at least xl ones because zit is still unsupported on this platform) should be available on civitai on-site generator tomorrow night when the weekly auctions ends. I guess it's not running now because there wasn't a bid done yet. I'll try to maintain my checkpoints on the Civitai generator as long as i can. In any case, all my checkpoints are always free to use on TensorArt. No buzz needed, no money needed. Cheers.
would you ever think of making v5.5 available for download and taking one for the team? idk your situation, but personally I've never made any of my models pay to win, especially for an open source SDXL finetune, just seems greedy and weird not to allow downloads, plus all the other free to download sdxl models on this site that are probably better, but i guess we'll never know since its locked behind a paywall

Oh hey thanks for reporting. It seems link works for me as the creator but is not visible to other people and a "404 error not found" appears. TA sometimes do that without notifying the creator. Not the first time that happened to me. I'd try to fix it later. I'd remove the link to TA until it's fixed.
Unfortunately Civitai online generator does't support Zit so far.
Fixed. Now it should be working again.
