like the idea, unfortunately any face upscale seems to have that flux split chin cleft chin curse, and that plastic skin look
I haven't had this issue, so I will assume it is because you either had too high denoise, alternatively too poor quality of the input image. Remember, this is not a restoration workflow.
It's a Flux issue, you can try any trick in the book it will still be very hard to get rid of the Flux curse xDDD Even with a LoRA, especially if it's a woman face... Unless you get a perfect base image without any upscale needed (very rare for me). That's why I hate Flux now, I got PTSD from that haha
@Tetsuoo Yeah flux face's are hard to look at for me too, I recognize them in a blink of an eye regardless of the quality of the overall image
A little heads up that this runs off of a Gemini 2.5 API key, boo Google booo
Yeah, not exactly a secrep. The API node is well visible in the workflow image. Not sure why that is an issue though. It's free, and if you are one of those complaining about NSFW stuff. It does NSFW stuff (only the consumer version that blocks that stuff)
Google workspace caused problems for me (long story) but if the api is free, I’ll give it a try..
@MGHerder I had issues with Google too, but never with Gemini. Well not in ComfyUi. Gemini for other thiings are like LLM are most, and hallucinating some times. But its really been invaluable in most of my recent work, so most of my newer work are built around it more or less..

I can't get a free 2.5 API Key.
When running the workflow i get:
GeminiLLMAPI.generate_content() got an unexpected keyword argument 'image
Here's where you can get your API key. However, they have heavily nerfed the amount of free API calls to only cover 20 per day.
