Gamma Update v2

The Gamma v2 is finally here! This is the direct evolution of v3.7.48.A and, honestly, it’s the perfect playground while I finish cooking the big v4.

If you liked the previous version, you’re going to love this one because I’ve fixed those annoying saturation and "burnt" issues when you push the CFG.

What’s new?

• CFG Stability: Now you can crank up the CFG to 6.0 or 7.0 without the colors going crazy. Gamma v2 keeps skin tones and shadows looking natural where other models start to fall apart.

• Insane Quality in Fewer Steps: Don't want to wait? You get "Masterpiece" results in just 10-12 steps. I’ve optimized the model to keep every tiny detail (hair, skin textures, fluids) even at high speed.

• Rock-Solid Anatomy: I’ve polished how the model understands physical contact in NSFW scenes. Expect fewer glitches, more natural poses, and better interactions.

• v4 Engine Preview: Under the hood, I’ve implemented part of the new training I’m designing for v4. Consider this a sneak peek of the improvement that’s coming!

My Recommended Settings:

• Steps: 8-40 is the sweet spot for incredible quality.

• CFG: Try 5.0 to 7.0 to really bring out the details.

• Sampler: Euler A (my personal favorite for this one).

The original look and feel of v2.0.24 is back, now combined with all the quality improvements from the Gamma Update and several new optimizations. One of the highlights is a custom DMD2 setup that makes it possible to generate high-quality images in just 12 steps, without sacrificing detail or having to lower the CFG. And the best part: it’s completely optional — the model still performs perfectly with the usual step settings.

Recommended settings

• Resolutions: 896x1152, 1024×1024, 1152×1536 (vertical), 1216×832 (landscape)

• Sampler (best starters): DPM++ 2M SDE Karras, Euler A, DPM++ 2M SDE, UniPC (Doesn't work with 3M)

• Steps: 8–30 (sweet spot ~12-18 for speed)

• CFG: 4–6 (Best results at 5)

• VAE: Baked

• Hi-res fix: 1,5x, 2x, 4x depending on your hardware

• Clip skip: 2

The Gamma update focuses exclusively on delivering a substantial and immediately visible boost in image quality. Every part of the output has been refined—sharpness, texture fidelity, lighting behavior, skin rendering, and overall visual cohesion now perform at a noticeably higher level.

This improvement is consistent across resolutions, whether you generate at 896×1152 or 1152×1536. Gamma maintains superior clarity, cleaner details, and more stable anatomy regardless of canvas size.

A pure quality-focused upgrade—no feature changes, just a stronger, more reliable model for high-end NSFW rendering.

Illustrious NSFW from HaDeS v1.0.12

Illustrious NSFW from HaDeS is an Illustrious merge focused on responsive, obedient prompting for adult/glamour use. It carries a wide NSFW range typical of merges and favors quick, consistent outputs with short and large prompts. As a merge, it can occasionally produce artifacts, but it compensates with broad sampler compatibility and speed.

This release is also an artistic protest regarding recent NSFW policy shifts: respectful to community rules while defending responsible adult expression.

What it’s good at

• Anime aesthetics (faces, hair, eyes, stylized shading)

• Prompt obedience with concise prompts respecting danbooru tags

• Speed even at decent resolutions

• Sampler breadth: works cleanly with ~80% of samplers

Trade-offs

• Being a merge, it may show occasional artifacts (edge halos, minor anatomy quirks, double lines)

Performance notes (real hardware)

• RTX 3060 12 GB (past setup): ~18 steps with DPM++ 2M SDE Karras was very quick for 1× images.

• RTX 5090 32 GB (current): ~<3.5 s per image at 1152×1536; with a simple hires pass, ~<15 s to a clean high-quality result.
  (Times vary by UI, VAE, upscaler, and settings.)

Tip: If you see line jitter/ghosting, drop CFG by ~0.5 or switch to Euler/ Euler A.
