I made this because I needed quick and easy pose modifications while working.
It's easy to use! Just set up qwen edit 2509, then put your character image on the left side of load image and the pose reference image on the right side.
If you want to directly input an openpose image, just turn off the pose group below.
Tip: You don't need to touch the prompt, but if you want a back view, it's good to add 'back view'.

For what it's worth to anyone, I just learned from another WF that if you turn the strength of the 8-step lora down to around 0.5, your outputs retain a higher level of realism. If you're working with images of real people that is. Can't speak for animated.
cool info, I'll give it a try.
What is the use of image3? It is not connected in the workflow, but it is still mentioned in the prompt
sorry I had been experimenting with various things and forgot to delete it. u can delete
Works great! I wonder if this could be used with a lineart/canny/softedge controlnet instead of openpose and instructing Qwen Edit to simply match the "lineart drawing" instead?
thanks, The original image's design will change because of the lineart from the pose reference. Are you trying to change both the pose and design at the same time?
@comal0731726 I'm trying to get the camera angle right or add context such as making the character sit. With just a pose reference, it might make the character sort of float in an awkward pose instead when using a sitting pose reference.
When I try to prompt the context, it also changes the characters appearance/art style slightly. But yeah, lineart has the issue of changing the original images design too so its pretty tricky.
Awesome~~
How do I add a back view of the character? Please help.
try using a back view reference and add "back view" at the end of your prompt. I'll be uploading a new workflow soon with better success rates!
i only get my original Carachter and and overly with the openPose .. what is wrong with me ?
Did you add a ControlNet node? If not, it shouldn't overlap. By the way, you shouldn't add a ControlNet node. Also, if you're going to load the OpenPose skeleton into the second image, you need to disable the 'pose' group below.
