Jadis the White Witch from Chronicles of Narnia, or Narnia-koku Monogatari, the Magicians Nephew. Or you might know her better from Chronicles of Narnia, Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe. Oh, and further down I'm gonna share alot of tips because I'm trying to get ahead of problems on this lora. So's, why this lora?
I have a weakness for evil busty 8 feet tall queens who can put me through a wall, I mean, what's there to psychoanalyze? But aside from that, for such a well known character there's not much out there of her because there's no consistent art. You've got the original illustrations, but they're that real old timey medievalist cartoon sorta art. I like this rendition of Jadis, you might laugh that my eyes go there, but she's got that mature regal villainess face shows up in a couple of my other loras that's kryptonite for me. It's all in the eyes and the lips.
Speaking of which, alot of these were collage and panel style, with speech bubbles and cuts focusing on Jadis' eyes or lips. I left a few of those in, some of the panels weren't, eh, practical for this sort of thing but just too cool not to try and include. So if you want to try genning some epic artistic shot of Jadis in her underwear looming over planet earth or such, it might well work!
So's, in keeping with all my loras, I don't have a home rig like you kids, I create it here, and only later do I find out how and if it actually works. But I used 73 pics, which is way more than I usually do, and 10 epochs, 10 retries, which is a little less, but should be workable in my experience. There's a few of her riding a horse if you'd like to try that on, basically she always has the same outfit, but we covered a wide variety of expressions, portrait, cowboy shot and full bodies so I expect us to get something usable. So far, unsurprisingly, it works best with a black and white manga style, but that doesn't mean you can't make other things work. I find it to be an overpowering lora just at 1.0, so if you're having trouble getting it to do what you want outside of her default looks you may try turning it down.
Now, her default look is something along these lines, feel free to adjust or add/remove. My experience with these is some loras need you to spell out every detail, some are fine keeping it minimal. I DO recommend you specify her hair color, it changes shade throughout from black to gray to white so what you get is likely to be random otherwise:
Queen, Tall, long flowing hair, tall crown with tear dropped jewels, flowing gown, black embellished skirt with white bejeweled over skirt, pointy nose, lipstick, armlet, bare arms, cape or mantle, tippet sleeves or hanging sleeves, solid heavy jeweled necklace or choker, comic or manga, greyscale or monochrome
If you DON'T want these things, I'd negative them out, emphasize your prompts with ((( ))) or reduce lora strength.
Her dress is tricky to describe, I simply prompted "dress", frankly cleavage would probably get you a manga accurate outfit. Some descriptive ideas:
The bodice has a gathered, almost horizontally ruched section over the bust, with fabric pulled into a central point and pinned with a brooch.
This is visually similar to the empire waist or Grecian draping seen in ancient Greek dresses such as the:
Peplos: Rectangular cloth, pinned at the shoulders, belted, often with fabric blousing over the bust.
Chiton: A tunic, sometimes with similar gathered bust, especially when belted high.
Empire waist gown: (historically, early 19th-century, but inspired by Greco-Roman lines) – fitted just under the bust, with fabric gathered or ruched at the chest.
In this image, the effect is stylized and merged with medieval/fantasy elements (the elaborate sash, heavy jewelry, and cloak), but the chest area is definitely reminiscent of Greco-Roman draping—particularly the “empire waist” look, where the bust is defined and the fabric falls in gathered folds.
If you’re seeking the term:
Grecian draped bodice
Empire waist with ruched/gathered bust
Peplos-style gathering
Chiton-inspired dress (with central brooch)
So's, possible issues that I haven't confirmed yet. Make sure you throw in solo or your 1girl/1boy, etc or you're probably going to get lots of duplicates. Half tone, speech bubbles, and split panels are in there, so my advice is either lean into them or negative them out. Oh, and here's a few of these manga tricks I didn't know the names of, this is where they do something cool and tricky. Again, I don't know if leaving these in helps or hurts a lora, but maybe you can experiment!
Superimposed close-up
Ghosted face overlay
Expression overlay
Background emotional close-up
Focus inset (when a smaller panel or overlay isolates an eye, lips, etc.)
Visual echo
The quality of these really made me think twice of making this lora, but the buzz is spent, so we'll do what we can. Here might be some things you want to negative or prompt against:
(((missing hands))), Fuzzy, softened lines, low saturation, noise, mottled, half tone, dot clumping, blurring, smudging, visible texture, noise, speckles, gray artifacts, banding
Description
10 epochs, 10 retries, 1825 steps, 73 pics. I wrote a book on the model description so if you're looking for prompt tips look there.
