In the dictionary, "monotone" means "sameness or dull repetition" and is usually synonymous with 'boring'. I think "monochrome", which means literally 'one color' and is usually used for a black-and-white color palate style, is the word you are searching for? Maybe it's intentional that you named your model "boring" and I didn't get that it was humor. Maybe I'm just wrong entirely. Sorry for this post.
