I’ve poured an insane amount of time and effort into this update. There were countless intermediate versions and failed attempts that just didn't meet my standards for a major release. You know me - I don’t like bumping the version number for minor, insignificant tweaks. I waited until there was a truly massive leap in quality, and I’m finally proud to call this v5. Everything has been rethought and reworked.

✨ What's New & Improved:

• Clarity & Contrast: The most obvious change. The model now produces significantly sharper images with enhanced contrast and richer, more vibrant colors.

• Prompt Adherence: It listens to you much better now. The model follows your prompts with much higher accuracy.

• Anatomy & Faces: I've heavily refined how it handles human features. Limbs, eyes, and teeth are vastly improved. Faces are much more consistent and rarely generate as a distorted mess anymore.

• Global Polish: From overall composition down to the tiniest details, I tried to improve literally everything.

I spent a huge amount of time training and merging a multitude of LoRAs and Sliders. The goal was to fix specific issues and refine the generation process.

Global Refinement: Literally everything is a bit better. Hands, eyes, composition — the overall quality.

The 2.5D Aesthetic: Out of the box, v4.0 leans towards a beautiful, rich 2.5D style.

Flexibility: Despite the 2.5D default, the model is steerable. With the right prompting, you can push it towards Anime or close-to-Realism.

🌗 Introducing: Equinox v4.0 Alt Alongside the main version, I’m releasing an Alternative version.

Different Vibe: It shares the same DNA as v4.0 but features a distinct aesthetic.

Lighting & Contrast: The Alt version focuses on better, more nuanced lighting with slightly reduced contrast for a softer, more atmospheric look.

Equinox v3.0 is a true major update, not just a small polish.
This version focuses on higher stability, cleaner faces, and more accurate prompt
following, while keeping the signature Equinox softness.

Equinox v2.5 isn’t a “huge revolution” — it’s more like polishing what already worked in v2.
✨ I focused on making everything cleaner, more stable, and prettier — from anatomy and textures to contrast.

Why not 3.0?
Because I don’t want to throw around big version numbers for tiny updates. The jump from v1 → v2 was massive, and I want v3 to feel the same way — a true wow moment, not just “some small tweaks.”
That doesn’t mean v2.5 was easier to make — honestly, it took just as much work as a full new release. I tested a ton of variations (some of them were drastically different),
but in the end, I picked the most balanced one that keeps Equinox’s aesthetic intact.

💜 Equinox v2.5 is the same flexible semi-realism you love — now even cleaner, more stable, and better for experiments.
